The Northwestern Bell Telephone Company, incorporated, appellant herein, owns and operates a large number of exchanges in this and other states, together with a-system of toll lines extending generally throughout such territory, and is also connected with the long distance lines of the American Telephone & Telegraph Company and associated companies.
