This case involves cross-appeals by plaintiff and defendant in an action for personal injuries and property damage and a counterclaim for personal injuries; it arose out of an automobile collision. The collision occurred at about 6:45 p. m. on Southwest Trafficway in Kansas City on October 17, 1966; it was raining lightly and it was dark, except for numerous street lights and the lights of cars.
