This is certiorari to review the proceedings of the Civil Service Commission of the city of Chicago, the result of which was the finding of Eugene Clifford guilty of certain charges made against him, and his discharge from the police force of the city, of which he was formerly a member. The abstract of the return of the Civil Service Commissioners to the writ is wholly insufficient.
