Appeal from a judgment of the Supreme Court (Main, Jr., J.), ordering, inter alla, equitable distribution of the parties’ marital property, entered May 21, 1999 in Franklin County, upon a decision of the court.

The parties were married in 1985 and, in January 1998, plaintiff commenced this action for divorce. Following service of defendant’s answer and counterclaim, the parties stipulated to resolution of all issues, including child support, relating to the dissolution of the marriage, except the issue of mainte-. nonce.
