MEMORANDUM AND ORDER ON DEFENDANT’S MOTION FOR SUMMARY JUDGMENT
SKINNER, District Judge.
This is a race discrimination action brought by a black man against his former employer. The second amended complaint alleges racially motivated discharge, harassment on the job, and interference with the plaintiff’s attempt to obtain unemployment benefits, in violation of Title VII, § 703 of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 42 U.S.C. § 2000e-2. The plaintiff also seeks relief under 42 U.S.C. § 1983 and the Massachusetts Civil Rights Act, M.G.L. c. 12, §§ 11H and 111. The defendant’s answer denies racial…
