Leslie Anthony Bluske was convicted on two counts of aiding and abetting the distribution of cocaine in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 841(a)(1) (1988), and 18 U.S.C. § 2 (1988), one count of possession with intent to distribute cocaine in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 841(a)(1), and one count of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute cocaine in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 846 (1988). On appeal, Bluske seeks a new trial based on the alleged denial of his Sixth Amendment right to effective assistance of counsel.
