This is an appeal from the Court of Appeals of the District of Columbia under Section 250 of the Judicial Code.

The Swiss National Insurance Company filed a bill in equity against the Alien Property Custodian and the .Treasurer of the United States in the Supreme Court of the District to recover securities to the value of about one million dollars. These it had before the War deposited in the various state treasuries/because required by the state laws as a condition of doing insurance therein.
