This proceeding is based upon section 7a of the Domestic Relations Law (as added by Laws of 1922, chap. 279). The petition alleges, and it was established by the proof, that plaintiff is a resident of the city of New York; that in 1901 she married the defendant in the city of Toronto, Can., where they resided until 1905; that petitioner and her husband moved to the city of Buffalo, N.
