This is a suit upon a promissory note given by the defendant, Charles R. Eberle, to Albert Donadt. The facts concerning the details and making of this note are succinctly stated.

The plaintiff knew the defendant to be a broker in real estate, and knew him for many years. The defendant was not a licensed real estate broker.
