Holcomb, bis successor in. office, as comity treasurer, and ex officio treasurer of • the scbool fund of Ouacbita county, brought an action of as-sumpsit in the Ouachita Circuit Court, against G-'eorge W. Baldwin, Nobert E. Armstrong, and John Gr. Banks, upon a promissory note.
