This suit was filed by the appellees, J. T. Smith and his wife, in one of the -district courts of Jefferson county against appellant, Stedman Eruit Company, to recover damages for personal injuries alleged to have been sustained by Mrs. Smith in consequence of alleged negligence on the part of appellant. Appellees alleged, in substance, that on the 10th day of June, 1927, an automobile in which they were driving along Main street in the city of Beaumont was run.into and struck by an automobile truck owned by appellant and which was being driven at the time by an employee of appellant, and…
