Appellee Ollie James Ford, Jr., was indicted on July 20, 2010, for the felony offense of aggravated sexual assault of a child that allegedly occurred on or about November 22, 1995. Appellee filed a motion to dismiss the indictment for prosecu-torial delay of more than fourteen years between the alleged offense and the indictment. Following an evidentiary hearing, the trial court granted the motion to dismiss. The State of Texas now appeals the trial court’s order dismissing the case.
