Joel David Sanchez challenges the forty-eight-month sentence that he received after pleading guilty to the crime of illegal reentry of a previously deported alien following a conviction for an aggravated felony offense, in violation of 8 U.S.C. § 1326(a) and (b)(2). He contends on appeal that the district court improperly calculated his Guidelines range by erroneously applying a sixteen-level crime of violence enhancement pursuant to U.S.S.G. § 2L1.2(b)(l)(A).
