HAWTHORNE, Justice.

On September 22, 1947, an assistant district attorney for the Parish of Orleans filed a bill of information in the juvenile court of that parish, charging relator, Edgar Galjour (an - adult), with desertion and intentional non-support of Jiis two minor children, Wayne and Edgar Galjour, aged four and three years, respectively, who were in destitute circumstances. To this charge the defendant entered a plea of not guilty, but after trial, which was held on October 20, 1947, he was adjudged by the juvenile judge to be guilty and ordered to pay $20 semi-monthly for the support…
