City of Boston v. Downing
Massachusetts Appeals Court
1Opinion of the CourtPerretta, J.
After the board of review (board) of the division of unemployment assistance (DUA) affirmed a review examiner’s (examiner) granting George Downing’s application for unemployment compensation benefits, the city of Boston (city) sought review of the board’s decision. A judge of the Boston Municipal Court Department reversed the board’s decision. *79Downing’s appeal from that judgment presents the question whether the board’s decision was supported by substantial evidence. Concluding that it was, we reverse the judgment.
