— The petitioner, Goodin, was imprisoned for the space of ten days, by the order of the court of criminal correction,because of an alleged contempt in refusing to do service as a juror in that court, he claiming exemption from such service by reason of the fact that, first, he is a certified member of the fire wardens of the city of St. Louis, having served seven years as such; second, that he is a member of a volunteer fire company, duly organized and ready for active service.
