A jury found the defendant, Richard Williams, guilty of three counts of making and subscribing a false federal income tax return, in violation of 26 U.S.C. § 7206(1), and of 17 counts of aiding and assisting others in preparing false income tax returns, in violation of 26 U.S.C. § 7206(2).
