Petitioner, a deputy public defender, represented Jimmy Ray Harris, defendant in the trial of a criminal prosecution for violation of sections 459, 261.3 and 288a, Penal Code, before a commissioner sitting as judge pro tempore with a jury, commencing in March 1976.
