Plaintiff Demer filed this action against seven defendants, each of whom is a corporation involved in the cable television industry. Count 1 of plaintiff’s complaint sought damages for the breach of an employment contract between plaintiff and defendant Cable America, Inc. The terms of the alleged contract were contained in a letter from defendant Cable America, Inc., to plaintiff, dated February 2, 1982.
