Richard Oplinger (Defendant) was found guilty by a jury of robbery in the first degree and armed criminal action. See § 569.020; § 571.015. 1 The trial court found Defendant to be a prior offender, sentenced him to thirty years imprisonment on each conviction and ordered the sentences to run concurrently. On appeal, Defendant claims the trial court plainly erred in allowing the prosecutor to cross-examine Defendant about his use of methamphetamine the night before the robbery occurred.
