A DeKalb County jury convicted Solomon Upshaw of numerous charges arising from a home invasion. These charges included two counts of rape, OCGA § 16-6-1; two counts of kidnapping with bodily injury, OCGA § 16-5-40 (b); one count of kidnapping, OCGA § 16-5-40 (a); four counts of aggravated assault, OCGA § 16-5-21; four counts of false imprisonment, OCGA § 16-5-41; and burglary, OCGA § 16-7-1.
