These consolidated causes constitute an appeal from an order of the county court of Cook county dismissing the petitions of the plaintiff in each of those causes to have his lands disconnected from the defendant village. In the one case August Geweke sought to have his lands disconnected from the village of Niles; in the other, George W. Green sought to have his lands disconnected from the village of Arlington Heights.
