Robert E. Martin filed an action pursuant to the Securities Law of 1953 (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1971, ch. 12172, par. 137.1 et seq.) to void the sale of securities and to recover the purchase price, plus interest and attorney’s fees, on the ground that the securities were not registered with the Secretary of State as required by law.
