OPINION

NYE, Chief Justice.

Salvador Sanchez, a purchaser of unimproved real estate, brought suit against the seller, Ben L. Brandt, Jr., seeking specific performance of an executory contract on the basis that the seller’s notice of forfeiture had failed to comply with the notice requirements of Article 1301b and that the seller had therefore wrongfully refused the purchaser’s timely tender of the outstanding indebtedness due under the contract.
