The tragic accident that resulted in Mrs. Verbeckmoes’ death occurred about 5:30 p. m. on November 8, 1941. In some manner she was struck by defendant’s truck, driven by Kenneth Knutson, and hurled to the parking in front of her own home in Clear Lake. . She died about thirty minutes later in the doctor’s office'without regaining consciousness.
