*647Patricia Delorey, the infant plaintiff herein, received personal injuries on June 19, 1953, while crossing Ocean Avenue approximately 500 feet south of Avenue Y in the borough of Brooklyn, city of New York, at which time it is claimed she was struck by a motor vehicle proceeding in a southerly direction on Ocean Avenue.
