hDECUIR, Judge.

Defendant, P.M., was charged by Bill of Information with two counts of aggravated second degree battery under La.R.S. 14:34.7, two counts of simple battery under La.R.S. 14:35, and one count of aggravated assault under La.R.S. 14:37. After a jury trial on the two counts of aggravated second degree battery, Defendant was convicted and sentenced to twelve and one-half years at hard labor on each count, the sentences to run concurrently.
