The parties to this case were first married in April, 1934. They were divorced in Missouri in 1940 and remarried in 1942. Thereafter they lived together until their separation early in 1943. Subsequent to such separation the defendant enlisted in the armed forces of the United States. After his discharge he instituted suit for divorce in the circuit court for the county of Madison, State of Missouri, and was granted a decree on January 21, 1946.
