This is a civil forfeiture action in which the United States seeks to forfeit three pieces of real property' that it contends were purchased with proceeds traceable to wire fraud and because they were involved in a wire fraud transáction.1 The case arises out of a criminal investigation into Daniel Williams2 who, the Government alleges, defrauded a' number of investors through an elaborate embezzlement scheme lasting from at least July 2011 through about February 2013.
