BAKER, J.

In this appeal from a judgment of the Circuit Court of Henrico County (trial court) which approved jury convictions for breaking and entering (statutory burglary) and grand larceny, Mayfield B. Hope (appellant) alleges first, that the evidence was insufficient to establish his guilt beyond a reasonable doubt on either charge, and second, that the trial court erroneously permitted the Commonwealth to introduce into evidence a gun found at the *493scene of his apprehension.
