McMILLIAN, Judge.

Defendant appeals his conviction of murder in the second degree, for which he was sentenced to twenty (20) years in the Missouri Department of Corrections. For the reasons discussed below, we affirm.

On the evening of March 15, 1974, defendant went to the Hole in the Wall Tavern with LaVera Davenport. After a few minutes, they went to 1522 Elliott Avenue, St. Louis, Missouri, where Ms. Davenport lived with Linda Jamison. Defendant asked for a shotgun, and Ms. Jamison gave him one which was in the kitchen. Ms. Davenport carried the shotgun back to the tavern for defendant.…
