MASSEY, Chief Justice.

The question posed relates to the consolidation of cities, pursuant to the provisions of Vernon’s Ann.Tex.St. Title 28, “Cities, Towns and Villages”, Chapter 15, “Consolidation of Cities”, Art. 1188 et seq.

In the City of Bedford, in Tarrant County a petition was filed with the governing body to order an election for the purpose of voting on its consolidation with the City of Euless, also in Tarrant County.
