Plaintiff-respondent Columbia Glass and Window Co. (“Respondent”) filed suit against Defendants-appellants Ewell Harris, et al. (“Appellants”), in the associate division of the circuit court for failure to pay off their account debt. The court heard the matter on June 20, 1996, in a non-juiy trial. On July 12,1996, the court entered judgment in favor of Respondent for $1,938.44 plus costs. Notice of the judgment was sent by mail to the parties the same day.
