Princelin Joseph, a Florida prisoner serving a life sentence for second-degree murder, attempted second-degree murder, and use of a firearm during a felony, appeals pro se the denial of his petition for a writ of habeas corpus. 28 U.S.C. § 2254. We granted a certificate of appealability on the issue whether the district court complied with Clisby v. Jones, 960 F.2d 925 (11th Cir.1992) (en banc), when it failed to address Joseph’s claim that the trial court erred in its jury instruction about manslaughter. We affirm.
