SLOVITER, Circuit Judge.

Before us is the appeal of Kenneth G. Geraghty from the District Court’s order dismissing his complaint for retaliatory discharge under the New Jersey Conscien*404tious Employee Protection Act (“CEPA”), N.J. Stat. Ann. §§ 34:19-1 to -14, on the basis of Geraghty’s broad release.
