In this case appellee sued appellant, alleging that he purchased from the Missouri, Kansas Texas Railway Company, at its office in Oklahoma City, Okla., a railroad ticket entitling him to transportation for himself and his baggage from that point to Dallas, Tex., and that appellant, Missouri, Kansas Texas Railway Company of Texas, is a connecting line of said initial carrier and as such received said baggage from the initial line and failed to deliver same to appellee. The baggage was alleged to consist of a trunk and its contents of the value of $607.35. Judgment for said amount was prayed,…
