This is a putative class action pursuant to Rule 23 of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure brought by members of The Directors’ Guild of America (“DGA”) against the DGA, the DGA-appointed Trustees of the DGA-Producers Pension Benefit Plan (“the Plan”), and the DGA-Producers Pension Trust. Plaintiffs claim that the union breached its duty of fair representation to its members under Section 301 of the Labor Management Relations Act (“LMRA”).
