OPINION
KAREN NELSON MOORE, Circuit Judge.
Defendant Leland Smart appeals the district court’s modification of his super vised release conditions to include a condition of electronic monitoring by a Global Positioning System (“GPS”) device for a period of six months. Smart argues that the district court abused its discretion in ordering the condition under the circumstances of his case. Because the six-month period for the GPS monitoring condition has ended, however, we DISMISS Smart’s appeal as moot.
