Statement of Case.

MONROE, J.

Defendant and other citizens of Shreveport, desiring to have an electric railroad along a certain route to the Pair Grounds, made a proposition in writing to pay, each, a certain sum of money as a.bonus if plaintiff would build and operate such road agreeably to the conditions mentioned in the proposition. Thereafter plaintiff, having satisfied the district court that it had done all that was required in order to entitle it to the amount ($2,000) offered by defendant, obtained judgment against Mm therefor, and, the judgment So obtained having been reversed by the…
