Miss Sarah C. Wallace died testate in 1921, and this action involves the construction of her will, the pertinent part of which reads:

“I leave to my great niece Elizabeth Searles Span-ton Five Thousand dollars (5000) to be held in trust for her by my niece Mattie Searles Scott free from any husband that she has or may have, this sum for her sole uses.
