This is an application for leave to appeal from a denial of Post Conviction relief by Judge William W. Travers sitting in the Circuit Court for Dorchester County.

Sometime prior to the filing of this petition, the applicant had apparently sought relief by filing a petition for a writ of habeas corptis at which time counsel was appointed and a hearing thereon was held by Judge Daniel T. Prettyman who denied the petition. The present petition, however, appears to be his first petition under the Uniform Post Conviction Procedure Act. We have consistently held that Md.
