On May 1, 1974, plaintiffs brought this class action on behalf of themselves and all other Eastern Air Lines, Inc. employees similarly situated, namely, all former employees of Caribbean Atlantic Airlines, Inc. who became employees of Eastern Air Lines, Inc. by virtue of the acquisition order of the Civil Aeronautics Board approving the acquisition of Caribbean Atlantic Airlines, Inc. by Eastern Air Lines, Inc.
