Following amicable termination of his employment Morris, a former insurance solicitor employee of Insurer, Federated Mutual Insurance Company, a direct writing company, brought this suit seeking to recover over $12,000.00 in back salary, retirement funds and an amount due on a contract settlement. Insurer counterclaimed alleging that Morris owed the company for losses incurred under policies written without company authorization and chargebacks for commissions paid to Morris on cancelled policies or unpaid premiums.
