Plaintiff is by trade an ammonia, steam and hot water fitter, and at the dates hereafter mentioned had followed that employment for about twelve years. Defendants are alleged to be, and the proof tends to show they are, members of a trade union in the city of St. Louis denominated Local Branch No. 29 of the National Association of Steam and Hot Water Fitters of America.
