After trial by jury in the circuit court of Vermilion County, defendant Charles Seaton was convicted on March 17, 1978, of murder and two counts of aggravated assault arising from a series of incidents occurring in Danville on the night of November 19, 1977. He was sentenced to concurrent terms of 1 year for each of the aggravated assaults and 15 to 35 years for the murder. On appeal he asserts that the court erred in refusing his tendered instructions as to involuntary manslaughter in regard to the murder charge and in failing to instruct the jury as to reckless conduct in regard to all…
