American Casualty Company of Reading, PA (“American”) brought an action against Róndale Bus Service, Inc. (“Róndale”) to recover an insurance premium allegedly owed by Róndale for motor vehicle liability insurance provided by American. Róndale denied the material allegations of the complaint and counterclaimed, seeking a “refund of [its] deposit premium.” American subsequently filed a motion for summary judgment.
