BARNES, Presiding Judge.

A jury convicted Charles Powers of rape, aggravated sodomy, burglary, and false imprisonment, and the trial court sentenced him to two consecutive life sentences followed by twenty-five years on probation. He appeals, contending that the trial court erred in denying his motion for continuance, his motion to suppress his statement, his mid-trial motion to proceed pro se, and his motion for a mistrial.
