In these consolidated cases, we consider the appellant’s claim that the term "mental anguish,” as included in the definition of "personal injury” in the criminal sexual conduct (esc) statute, MCL 750.520a(j); MSA 28.788(l)(j),1 is unconstitutionally vague.2__
