Counsel for the plaintiff in error, in their brief, very conveniently set forth their contentions under four divisions, and we thus deal with the questions raised.

The first contention is: “Under the facts of this case, a judgment allowing alimony in some amount was demanded in favor of the wife.” Code, § 53-508, is cited and relied upon.
