This was a proceeding commenced before the Industrial Commission by Isabelle Barnes, widow of Earl R. Barnes, against the Chicago Board of Underwriters, to recover compensation under the Workmen's Compensation act for the death of her husband while in the course of his employment as a patrolman of the fire patrol operated by plaintiff in error in the city of Chicago.
